We recorded the song withOne cell phone in our jam space. Budget rock style. No frills, no multi cell phone recording, no no mixing no computer programs.
The Vapids are one of the first canadian punk bands I fell in love with. First time I saw them they opened for Teenage Head!! I was about 20 years old. Scotty Vapids gave me a big of Vapids CDs after the show and I became pals with Jim and Scott. I ended up playing in a band with them called “harbour rats” and was then asked to play in the Vapids. I’ve played on two 7” and one album as well as a bunch of live shows. It is an honour to be member of one of my favourite bands!
Eric and myself played bass on the original recording and Flesh Rags drummer Nathan helped with the original recording. We reimagined tune like a slow, and nasty New York dolls styled rocker.
