We just did a Live off the floor take. One take recorded with the voice recorder of the cell phone in the middle of the room. No overdubs at all. It can't get as Raw as this.
The Vapids is one of our favorite Canadian Band ever. Pat and Frank saw them live a lot of times in Montreal and Ottawa. They are a big part of our inspiration as a band and they may be even a reson why we exist. To us, The Vapids are the most relevant Ramones core band period.
We chose “Don't Play Games with My Heart“ because we can't write songs like this (yet :)) . We alway tried to write softer ballad type of songs but never been able to achieve it so far. So, this was a good way to pratice at get inspiration. And it's a Great Song too!!!
